About this app

Alecava brings together two tools for rural Colombia.

Cultivo is for people who have a farm. Place the farm on the map, note what you grow and how many plants you have, and the app estimates your harvest from the crop and the altitude. If you lose signal, what you enter is saved on the phone and sent when the connection returns. Your farm data is private.

Turismo is for visitors and for people who receive them. Search farms, hotels, viewpoints and other places by department, municipality, category or distance. Each place shows photos, services, and a phone or WhatsApp number to reach it. One tap opens the route in the phone's map app. If you have a place, you can list it with photos at no cost, and change or remove it whenever you want.

One account works for both. You can sign in with your phone number or your email, and delete your account from the app whenever you want.

What’s new

If your phone's location is off, the app now tells you and takes you to turn it on, so you can mark your farm or place on the map.
