About this app

VolumePie allows users to disable the default popup to change volume media on the top of the screen in favor of a side popup.

VolumePie uses the minimal possible Accessibility Service configuration to listen to volume keys to launch the side popup and does not observe any user action or text that they type; however this privilege is mandatory for all accessibility services, but VolumePie disregards any events the system does send, except for those mentioned that anyway are not recorded.

As far as moving the volume to the right side, awesome, and even the swipe from the edge works great too, but A lot of bugs it causes though. The volume now goes to max when I connect my Bluetooth headphones, rotating the screen gets very laggy, an audible beep also happens when rotating the screen, and my one screen navigation buttons disappear when the keyboard is open. I don’t understand how that many issues would be caused by this, but disabling the privileges, and resetting the app fixes all of them? OnePlus 7 Pro

Nice User interface; very clean and customizable. However, it has lots of bugs, often crashes, and on many devices doesn't work well with videos. On multiple occasions it freezes or lags even on flagship devices. Unfortunately this is the only app that emulates the PIE volume controls. I regret paying for the pro version, and I suggest you avoid it like the plague. I rate this app 3/10

Apparently, no features/settings will work until you give the app permission to observe text you type, "Includes personal data such as credit card numbers and passwords". VolumePie says it "disregards any events the system does send, except for those mentioned", and that it does not have internet access. But, all apps have background data access enabled by default. I think I will pass. Thanks, though.
