Alexandria is a client app for self-hosted media servers. To use it, you'll need:
• An Audiobookshelf server (for audiobooks) and/or
• A Kavita server (for ebooks/comics) and/or
• A Storyteller server (for ebook transcription service)
• Network access to your server(s)

Audiobookshelf, Kavita, and Storyteller are free, open-source server applications you can run on your own hardware.

Ratings and reviews

I was hoping this would be the definitive personal library application, but it's spendy! not only are you paying $7 USD, but to unlock all the features, that's another $2 a month or $60 for a "lifetime" license! on the base tier with no monthly subscription, you can only link 2 libraries. In addition to only 2 libraries, you cannot switch them to other services (i.e. Kavita to Komga) until 30 day has passed. Nothing to complain about the UI.

i just recently downloaded this app (less than 24 hours) and can already tell that this has an amazing potential. My current and only complain/sugestion would be to add options for widgets, similar to the ones found with the play books app, and when listening to audiobooks, I would like an option to set the progress bar to by chapter. Otherwise a great app that I will continue to use!

Off to a great start! Love the UI and being able to have ABS and Komga rolled into one. Shockingly smooth sailing for such a new app.
