About this game

The weather changes every round, and so does the best move on the board.

AlexCity is a turn-based strategy board game set on an island: you place houses and skyscrapers on the intersections, lay roads, produce materials with the roll of the dice and trade for whatever you are short of. You already know how to do that. What does not exist here is a match that plays like the last one.

THE WEATHER RULES THE ROUND
Rain, wind, night, fog and sun. Every round the sky turns, and trade and production turn with it. It is not decoration, it is information. The player who reads the sky before building is playing a different game.

THE INSPECTOR'S DECREE
In private rooms, every week the Inspector proclaims a new rule that governs every table until the next one: one number produces double, the first 7 is forgiven, everyone starts with an extra resource. The strategy that was winning last week can be the worst one this week. Read it fast and use it before your rivals do.

HOW YOU PLAY
Roll the dice. The zones of the island produce Brick, Steel, Glass, Energy and AlexCoin depending on the number that comes up. With that you lay roads, raise houses, turn them into skyscrapers and add up victory points. Whatever you are missing, you negotiate for: with the bank, at the ports, or face to face with the rest of the table.

CARDS THAT DECIDE GAMES
The inspector who steals, the monopoly, the subsidy, the road permit and weather control. Knowing when to hold them is worth as much as knowing when to play them.

THE ISLAND OF THE DAY
Every day the same exotic island opens for every player in the world. One attempt only, no rematch. Your finishing place decides your chest and keeps your streak alive. Tomorrow the island is another one.

SCHOOL FIRST, LEAGUE AFTER
Start alone, offline, against an AI with three difficulty levels, with your game saved exactly where you left it. When you are ready, step into online multiplayer and measure what you know against strangers in public matches. Build a private room with a code for your usual group, add friends, see who is connected and invite them with one tap. And if you are all in the same room, play over local Wi-Fi, device against device.

THE INSPECTOR TALKS TO YOU
He has a voice of his own. He teaches you to play step by step in the tutorial, then comments on the match. His guidance shows you what is happening on the board, never the move you should make: that one is yours. Here you learn to read an island, not to repeat a formula.

PORTRAIT, WITH ONE HAND
Play with the phone upright and a single hand, or turn it and the island opens up wide, mid-match. A board game built for phones and tablets.

WHAT KEEPS ADDING UP
Daily missions, 36 achievements, a daily chest, levels and a leaderboard. Avatars and houses unlocked by playing. In-match reactions instead of chat: here you celebrate and you protest, you do not insult.

What’s new

Classic Mode: the board you know, with stone paths, towers, flocks, period cards and the robber on the prowl. Play it solo against the AI or online with your friends, in public or private rooms. It's next to PLAY and explains its rules before you start.

Continue a saved game and the deck is right where you left it, and winning online no longer erases your Single Player game.
