GroVo is a new way of learning languages!

GroVo can grow your Basque vocabulary to an expert level. Employing all key skills - reading, listening, sentence building and pronunciation, GroVo Basque uses 150,000+ unique sentences to build your vocabulary to over 60,000 words.

GroVo takes a different approach to language learning. We never tell you what a word means, only what a sentence means. You see each new word in a variety of contexts and among other words you already know. By working out what a new word means, it's more likely to stick in your mind. And by repeated exposure to different grammatical constructions, you pick up the rules the same way you did as a child.

You learn words in order of their frequency within our sentences, starting with the most common and useful words. GroVo is like an almost ever-lasting Basque frequency dictionary.

One challenge for language learners is to find comprehensible content, that is, material that's not boringly easy but also not brain-meltingly difficult. By only including one word that is new to you in every sentence, GroVo provides 100% comprehensible content.

A handy Autoplay facility allows you to use GroVo hands-free, enabling you to improve all key language skills at the same time as doing something else.
