out of nowhere the app stopped working on my phone.. no warning or anything, and my phone is only a few years old. what's the point of a banking app if it doesn't work on the phone you downloaded it on?? and after a while of this issue, I've check at least once a week since it happened, there's no change. there's several reviews with this issue and there has been no fix at all

Hi Zephyr, unfortunately due to updates to Android’s operating system, only devices running version 12 or newer are currently supported. You can still manage your STCU accounts on your device through your browser at stcu.org. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Fail. Been successfully using this app for a few years now. Today I discovered that the app was showing not compatible with my android...with no changes to app version to know of. Now it won't update or reinstall. Fail. This is a developer issue and not the customer's problem to solve. Switching banks is the answer when tech leaves customers out. Again, coding fail.

We understand this may be inconvenient and we’re sorry. Android updates have limited our app to devices with version 12 or above. You can still securely access and manage your accounts by going to stcu.org in your browser.

Great banking app. Granted, this is the only one I've ever used, but it does everything i need in a very easy-to-use manner. It's easy checking balances, transferring money between accounts, and everything else i need. Their mobile deposit works great too, don't need to physically cash checks anymore, now i can just take a picture of them with the app, it's super easy. Plus you can access your credit report through this app which is a nice bonus.
