About this app

① Overview

DeepDo is a simple yet powerful to-do app that lets you organize tasks in a fully hierarchical structure. You can freely create subtasks within tasks and add deeper layers without limitation. Whether outlining ideas or managing large projects, DeepDo helps you build a tree-structured workflow that reflects the way you think.

You can also save and share your task structures, enabling use cases such as workflow handover, checklists, content planning, and visualizing complex processes. DeepDo is useful for both personal organization and team-based project work.

② Features

  • Add new lists (Create To-Dos)

  • Task menu

    • Select – Open a page based on the selected task

    • Add sub-task – Create a child task

    • Edit – Change title, value, or color

    • Save – Save the selected task and all its children

    • Delete – Delete the selected item and its descendants

    • Cut – Cut a task (with or without its children) and reinsert it

    • Copy – Copy a task (with or without its children) and insert it

    • Paste – Insert saved, cut, or copied items

    • Split for progress tracking – Divide a value-based task into subtasks

    • Hide children – Temporarily hide all subtasks

    • Shrink – Collapse a task (also available via swipe)

  • Three-level view – Example: show levels 5–7 while displaying levels 1–4 as breadcrumbs

  • 46 languages supported – Switch from settings

  • Backup to internal storage – Folder organization available

  • Backup to external storage – Requires permission

  • Backup list – Share, overwrite, insert, restore, or delete files

  • Restore from external storage

“Value” refers to a numeric field that can be assigned to tasks. Units can be customized (e.g., $, items, tasks, yen, man-hours). This allows flexible use cases, and only leaf tasks can hold numeric values.

③ Developer’s Intent

DeepDo was designed for people who think structurally. It excels in fields where tasks are better understood not as lists but as trees—construction, design, writing, education, research, and more.

④ Use Cases

  • Construction workflow management

  • Long-term project design

  • Writing outlines or story planning

  • Programming and system design flow organization

  • Study planning and research tracking

Even deeply layered task structures remain easy to navigate, helping you understand where everything is at a glance.

⑤ What Makes DeepDo Unique

Most to-do apps only support two levels, limiting flexibility. DeepDo supports unlimited hierarchy and powerful editing functions such as copying, cutting, and inserting entire task branches. You can also assign numeric values to tasks for progress tracking or workload estimation.

⑥ Future Updates

Upcoming updates will be developed based on user feedback, making DeepDo even more flexible and convenient.

⑦ Vector Layer Mode

Vector Layer Mode provides a bird’s-eye view of your entire task structure. Accessible from the AppBar on the home screen, it displays your task tree using lightweight vector rendering.

Use the zoom slider or pinch gestures to freely adjust scale. Move across the layout with swipe gestures or the navigation buttons in the lower-right corner.

This feature transforms deep task navigation into a full structural diagram, allowing intuitive understanding of relationships, progress, and overall balance.
