CQ4You release V1.2

This version is for CQ mixers running V1.2.* firmware.

CQ4You is a personal monitor mixing app for the CQ mixer giving you customised control of your own monitor mix on stage using a smart phone or tablet.

It is for remote control of a single mix (it does not pass audio), and connects to the CQ via a wireless router.



CQ4You allows you to :

- Choose any Output to control
- Assign which send levels to control (Input Channels, FX returns)
- View channels numbers, names and meters
- Control individual channel send levels and pan
- Assign up to 4 groups of channels to level trim wheels
- Create a 'Me' group for quick control of your own channels
- Name each group
- Control the Output level and mute
- Lock the mix and/or processing to prevent user error

Requirements :

An Allen & Heath CQ mixing console with a wireless router (wireless access point) connected to its Network port.
The CQ mixer firmware and CQ4You app must share the same major release version but maintenance version numbers do not need to be identical, for example CQ4You V1.2 is compatible with CQ firmware V1.2.x

New to using a mixer (CQ-18T) for our band and just installed the IEM app, so I can´t yet comment on live performance capabilities or issues. However, from a UI POV, I really like how simple it is to create your own source mix. The volume flywheel to control volume across all input channels at the same time is great, as is the Mute button. I can see how playing in a studio environment with IEM´s is so much easier than playing live over a PA, but excited to try it out. So far, loving the app.

App is fine for the most part, I really only have one complaint. If I lock my phone, the app will disconnect from the mixer, so I have to reconnect even though my phone is still linked up with the WiFi. It'd be nice if the app's connection would persist.
