About this app

Allergo Scan, the allergen scanner for the whole family.

Scan a barcode and instantly know whether a product is safe for you or for your children, your partner, your loved ones.

HOW IT WORKS
Create a profile for each person with their allergies from the 14 official allergens recognised by the European Union (gluten, peanuts, milk, tree nuts, crustaceans, eggs, fish, soya, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphites, lupin, molluscs), and add your own keywords to watch out for (a specific ingredient, an additive, etc.).
Then scan a product with your camera or enter its barcode manually. Allergo Scan queries the Open Food Facts database and shows you in an instant:

A clear verdict: Safe, Danger, Possible traces or Not enough data
A per-person breakdown when several profiles are selected
The product's Nutri-Score and NOVA classification
The full list of ingredients

BUILT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Add as many profiles as you need and choose who's eating before you scan: the app automatically cross-checks the product against each selected person's allergies.

YOUR HISTORY, ALWAYS AT HAND
Look back over all your previous scans along with their verdict, so you never have to ask the same question twice.

RESPECT FOR YOUR PRIVACY
Your profiles and history are stored on your phone only. No account required, no ads, no trackers.

⚠️ Allergo Scan relies on community data from Open Food Facts, which may be incomplete. In case of a severe allergy, always check the product's actual label.
