Works as described once you can access the device. I bought an R2500 and while the app works. Connecting to it is a pain. Bluetooth mode doesn't save the device, you need to search for and reconnect EVERYTIME. Wifi mode, it goes offline and I have to rebind it to my account multiple times to get it back online. So while yes once in you can control things, the app doesnt save anything except your sign-in profile. Device gets a good rating. App not so much.

Doesn't connect to Bluetooth at all. Only connects to wifi once, and then you have to start all over again the next time you need ta use this rubbish app. Piece of poop garbage! The unit itself is also poop. It randomly goes into various errors for no rhyme or reason. Once the unit goes into any kind of random error, the UPS function turns itself off. This makes it impossible to use as a UPS unless you sit right next to the unit 24 hrs a day to keep resetting the errors. Avoid promptly!

The wifi option doesn't work, just sits on a loading screen, with all the text in presumably Chinese. The Bluetooth option does not remember devices. And the units have a short shutdown timer with no load, and Bluetooth/wifi dont turn back on automatically when the unit is powered on. Ultimately only useful if the unit is being used 24/7 allowing the Bluetooth/wifi setting to stay on. Not sure about firmware updates, it isn't present on the Bluetooth but may only show when an updates available.
