GridSwan is the most popular Android application to solve logic puzzles also known as griddlers, hanjie, nonogram, picross, kare karalamaca, japanese crossword, cryptopics or pic-a-pix. The goal of griddlers is to find out the positions of black or colored blocks using number hints in the white grid. The resulting solution of the puzzle is an image. GridSwan supports 4 types of griddlers puzzle: standard (black&white), colored, triangle and multi griddlers and comes with lots of free puzzles.

Ratings and reviews

Great puzzle game that gets you thinking logically, but it has a couple of minor inconveniences. While the puzzles are organized into their own folders, inside of the folder you can have a couple different types of puzzles with triangle and color picross mixed in with the others and no way to distinguish from the menu. Also ui is a bit difficult to manage for larger than 15x15 puzzles on most phones.

This game is similar to a game I fell in love with a few years ago called CrossMe. This game is so much better with it's implementation of hints and the sheer number of puzzles available. I play around 1-2 hours a day and no end in sight. The only problems I have are that I my ranking doesn't display properly and I cannot login to save my progress.

This has been my #1 favorite nonogram game for around 5 years now. It's the only one I've kept & will probably ever keep. It's great for all skill levels, which I especially love bc I really enjoy a challenge. Some of the advanced ones will totally wrack your brain. But then if I just need something simple to keep me occupied I can do an easy puzzle in 1-2 minutes or less. Very relaxing and mentally stimulating at the same time. I play to stay sharp and ease my anxiety. Can't recommend enough!
