NFC Tag Tools is an all-in-one NFC reader, NFC writer, NFC tag copier, profile manager and QR toolkit for Android. Read multi-record NDEF tags, edit existing NFC data, copy NDEF content to another tag, save reusable profiles, inspect compatible NTAG memory, scan QR codes and create custom QR codes.

NFC READER

Scan compatible NFC cards, stickers, labels and tags to view:

• Every ordered NDEF record
• Text, URL, phone, SMS, email, Wi-Fi, contact and location data
• Tag ID, NFC technologies, capacity and writable status
• Record counts and encoded size
• Unsupported records as locked, read-only items

MULTI-RECORD NFC EDITOR & WRITER

Import an existing tag into the document editor. Add, edit or remove supported records while keeping their order. Unsupported records remain locked and preserved.

Create and write Text, URL, Phone, SMS, Email, Wi-Fi, Contact / vCard and Location records. The writer checks compatibility, writability and capacity before writing.

COPY & CLONE NDEF CONTENT

Copy the complete NDEF message from one compatible NFC tag to another while preserving record order and unsupported records.

NFC Tag Tools copies NDEF content only. It does not clone tag UIDs, payment cards, access credentials, protected sectors or raw security data.

NFC PROFILES

Create reusable multi-record NFC profiles.

• Edit, rename, duplicate and delete profiles
• Write profiles directly to compatible NFC tags
• Preserve ordered and locked records

NFC AUTOMATION

Use the Automation tab to create Task Profiles with ordered Smart Actions and IF/ELSE conditions. Preview, run or write tasks to compatible NFC tags. Actions can open apps, URLs, maps or settings, compose messages, share/copy text, add contacts or Wi-Fi, with STOP/CONTINUE rules.

NFC HISTORY

Complete multi-record scans are saved locally as one History item. Reopen saved documents to review records, generate QR codes, write individual records or write the complete document again.

NTAG MEMORY READER

Inspect compatible NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216 memory with:

• Searchable HEX and ASCII views
• Page-by-page display
• Partial-read handling
• TXT, HEX and BIN export through Android’s document picker

MANAGE NFC TAGS

Use scan-first tools for supported tags:

• Format as NDEF
• Erase NDEF content
• Clear supported user memory and create a valid empty NDEF structure
• Permanently make a compatible tag read-only
• Experimental NTAG21x password protection
• Set, verify, change and remove an eight-digit HEX password

Sensitive or destructive operations require warnings, confirmation and another touch of the same inspected tag.

PRIVACY & COMPATIBILITY

NFC and QR content stays on your device. Sensitive NFC, QR, password, memory and command data is excluded from analytics.

NFC features require an Android device with NFC hardware. Some tags may be read-only, locked, protected or unsupported. QR tools work without NFC hardware.

Ratings and reviews

pro version doesn't remove ads. waste of money

An ad overtakes the screen every 10-15 seconds. The ads are made to blend into the app in a way that makes it hard to decipher what part of the screen is the ad and what is the actual app. By the time the that teeny tiny X comes up to close the app, you can scroll to a few features to check them out. Before I could type anything meaningful into the email or text options, I was interrupted by the next ad. I don't recommend this app and will uninstall it.
