The voice recognition feature exceeded my expectations for a flashcard app. This is actually one of the few apps I feel the paid version is actually worth it. Usually, if I'm trying to test myself but don't want multiple choice or spelling tests, I choose multiple choice and put my hand over the bottom of the screen. I use this for both work terminology and language learning, which for languages you can actually play the pronunciation of the word. This is exactly what I needed to learn kanji

I love this app! Initially, I was just looking for a basic flash card app, to write down and practice my own german vocabulary - and it's perfect for that. But then I saw that it has the option to install 4 german packages of flash cards (it has this option for multiple popular languages). The 4 decks contain overall 1000 super useful everyday phrases, giving you a great sense of how to use your already learned basic vocabulary - it is not for pure beginners. My german boosted so much since.

Good for multiple choice study style. Shouldn't be called a flash card app if you can't flip between the front and back of a card. Made a bunch of scientific "flash cards" to learn the differences between terms and the multiple choice layout simply gives the answer. I wasted my time because it wasn't clearly advertised, but the functions it does have could be nice for the right target audience.
