This APP is a free platform allowing you to monitor and optimize your energy 24/7, once you own an AlphaESS system.
It provides you with a comprehensive view of your energy ecosystem. It enables you to see in real-time the amount of your PV generation, your energy consumption, your battery energy and to set your preferences to optimize for energy independence and saving money.

the latest update has made the information so much clearer and comprehensive. I can instantly see my power imported % for example. The switch to line graphs m qnw I can always see everything at once. It's now clear the reserve setting is for backup, not battery health.

the graph needs to be solid. the line graph doesnt show as clearly as the previous version. also the settings-> time based control has an issue as i set certain times and to charge to 100% and then a few days later if I check again, it shows Charge to 0% or 90%. it needs to save what i set it as. also the rates of buy and sell logic and peak and off peak period needs to show the times after they have been set. nice to see the old daily stats are kinda back. was horrendous the first few days.

All of what KEITH S. said "They have completely changed the app format again with no warning. Cannot find how to change the State Of Charge SOC function for the battery. It was easy to find in the prior version. Completely not user friendly. No help function to help navigate the new format and settings. Alpha ESS is absolutely useless. You almost need a degree to navigate the new version. Go back to the prior version Easy to navigate. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. A big failure"

Australia: turn on Self-Consumption Plus mode to make the most of your Solar Sharer Offer (SSO).
• Australia: Self-Consumption Plus now shows live status and today's grid use: grid charging, holding once full, and back to self-consumption at the cap or window end.
• Force Charge / Discharge: add a cut-off time as well as a target SoC - whichever comes first ends it.
