Goldbet's Pong mode renders a particle trail behind the ball as it moves across the court. The trail serves as a visual cue that helps you track the ball's direction and speed, particularly during fast-paced rallies when the ball crosses the screen in a fraction of a second.
At the beginning of a point, the ball moves slowly enough that tracking it requires no assistance. As the rally continues and the ball accelerates, the particle trail extends, giving you a clear indication of its trajectory even before it reaches your side.
The trail length reflects ball speed, a short, faint trail indicates a slow early rally, while a long, brighter trail signals that the ball is moving at peak velocity and your reaction window is at its shortest.
This visual design also makes spin effects more readable. When a spin hit deflects the ball at an angle, the particle trail immediately follows the new direction, giving you a real-time visual of the shot's altered path.
The particle trail is part of Pong's visual design in Goldbet and requires no configuration to activate. All features work offline with no sign-up needed.
