The companion app for Altice Amplify lets you connect to WiFi, enable Amazon Alexa and control Altice One.

Ratings and reviews

Aww man this app is useless. Just stick to whatever streaming service you use to control your music. No equalizer setting for this bass heavy mini monster (amplify) which sucks cause as heavy in weight and as compact as the amplify speaker is you want to believe there's more to it than what it is. Then again, it was a freebe from the cable company for staying with them when they adjusted our plan.

This is a very poor app and the Amplify Altice speaker is only ok. 1. The app is very difficult to use. At first I thought it was me, then realized it was the app. Finally after the app/speaker were set up still no good. Everytime you click on the app it takes forever if you are lucky to locate the speaker. 2. The speaker only sounds ok at higher volume. Good bass but no treble or mid and sounds very murky w no equalizer to adjust. Help! Rework this App!

HORRIBLE! This is completely useless and uncompatable with the Altice cable box. I guess it only works if you let Amazon eavesdrop on your private home which I will never do. The app takes longer to "look for speakers" than to actually get up and walk to the speaker and turn it up, down, or mute. Reminds me of the stories my grandparents used to tell me of when there were no remote controls and had to walk five miles to school in the snow going uphill. Both ways! Shame on you.
