WhatsLauncher makes your Android home screen easier to use. Large contact cards, clear calling choices, practical caregiver settings, and four memory games help older adults stay connected and enjoy everyday moments.
PEOPLE FIRST
• See your favorite contacts on a simple home screen with large buttons. Contacts can show a photo or initials.
• Tap a contact for WhatsApp video, WhatsApp voice, or a regular phone call. Choose a preferred number when a person has more than one.
• Keep favorites easy to find and organize other contacts in the contact list.
• Add a tile with up to four essential apps.
FOUR MEMORY GAMES
• Remember the Sequence: follow a changing sequence of emoji.
• Find the Pairs: match familiar pictures.
• Remember the Objects: recall what you have seen.
• Remember the Number: practice recalling a number.
Open the games from the clock on the home screen. A friendly sound and bright feedback celebrate correct answers. The clock shortcut can be turned off in Settings.
A COMFORTABLE VIEW
• Large touch targets, readable text, and light and dark themes.
• Contact names appear over photos on a translucent background. Choose one of five transparency levels: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%.
• Helpful on-screen prompts guide you when volume, brightness, or connectivity needs attention.
CAREGIVER OPTIONS
• Show all contacts or only favorites on Home. Hide or restore individual contacts.
• Protect Settings from accidental changes with an optional four-digit PIN.
• Share WhatsLauncher or send feedback directly from Settings.
WhatsLauncher opens Android's own controls when changing system settings or choosing a Home app. WhatsApp calls require WhatsApp and a compatible contact number. Regular phone calls use your phone's dialer.
Contacts stay on your device. Where Android Auto Backup is available, eligible preferences may be restored after reinstalling or changing devices; permissions and the Home app role must be granted again.
