AmbuOne is a fully technology driven emergency care management solution. It works on a subscription model. QR stickers are given to identify the subscribers and that can be fixed on vehicles, Mobile phone or wallet. If somebody sees a subscriber having an AmbuOne QR code on his vehicle, mobile phone or purse, in an emergency situation, then he can just scan the QR code or hold the SOS button in the mobile phone of the subscriber/victim for five seconds. The SOS button works even if the mobile phone is in the lock screen mode. Holding of the SOS button will alert the AmbuOne call centre and the call centre team will call back, analyse the situation and dispatches a suitable ambulance to the location. At the same time, the call centre team will inform the incident to the close relatives of the victim and share the mobile number of the ambulance driver to them so that they can give necessary instructions. Also we will give a cashless emergency room care at tie up hospitals which covers total expenditure including ambulance charges upto Rs.20,000/-. We provide reimbursement at other hospitals.
Accessibility Service Disclosure
AmbuOne uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect when the volume-down button is pressed three times in quick succession. This allows users to trigger an emergency SOS alert even when the screen is locked or the app is closed.
What data is accessed: The Accessibility Service detects hardware button press patterns only. It does not read screen content, collect keystrokes, or access any on-screen information.
Location data: When an SOS alert is triggered (via volume button or any other method), AmbuOne collects your precise GPS location solely to dispatch emergency services to your location. This location data is shared with AmbuOne's emergency dispatch platform and is not used for any other purpose.
How to disable: You can disable this feature at any time by going to Settings → Accessibility → Downloaded apps → AmbuOne SOS trigger and toggling it off.
