About this app

AMG Controllers turns an Android phone into four MIDI controllers for music performers.

FOUR SURFACES
- SCALE — the microtuning itself: maqam and custom scales, addressed in cents, with instant scene banks.
- RIBBON — a continuous touch surface, with adjustable glide and note quantisation.
- AIR — hand tracking through the camera, with its own travel and its own Control Change mapping, independent of the ribbon. The scale is the one thing they share.
- PADS — velocity pads in several views: Grids Keys, Drums, Touch MPE and Strings. The pads combine MIDI with audio samples.

1-MICROTONAL BY DESIGN
Arabic and Turkish makams, from -99 to +99 cents depending on the instrument.

2-CONNECTS THE WAY YOUR STAGE IS WIRED
USB-OTG, Bluetooth LE MIDI and network MIDI (RTP-MIDI) run at the same time, and one gesture can reach all of them at once. An MPE and control-surface layout is there for a computer session.

3-KNOWS ELEVEN INSTRUMENT FAMILIES
Korg KRONOS, NAUTILUS, PA series and Pa5X. Yamaha MONTAGE, MONTAGE M, MODX, MODX+,PSR-A3000/A5000, PSR-SX720/SX920. Audio Modeling SWAM, solo and sections.
AMG Controllers recognises the instrument at the other end of the cable and prepares it —the right Midi, the right tuning table, the right channel layout, instead of asking you to do it by hand before a concert.

3-WORKS OFFLINE
Everything runs on the phone. No account, cloud, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. The cleaves the device: AIR reads hand positions in memory, and no image, no landmark is ever stored or transmitted.

4-THREE LANGUAGES
English, French and Arabic.

5-SUPPORT
