About this app

Amnesty International’s Human Rights Academy offers a wide variety of human rights courses in more than 20 languages. Every single one is available for free through this app. These range in length from 15 minutes to 15 hours, and many offer an official Amnesty International certificate upon successful completion.

The Academy is training a new generation of human rights defenders - strengthening the human rights movement through action-oriented education. The courses will equip you with knowledge about human rights and will encourage you to take action on different human rights issues. Various human rights topics are covered, including freedom of expression, an introduction to human rights, indigenous peoples’ rights, the right to freedom from torture, digital security and human rights, and many more. You can complete the courses at your own pace, free of cost, just by registering on the platform. No prior knowledge of human rights is required.

Courses can also be downloaded to your device through this app. After you download a course while connected to Wi-Fi, you can learn on the go without using any data.

Would have been an exciting journey for rights activists like myself, but it turns out, the app still needs a lot of work. Iv been unable to log in as all the emails I have imputed have been rejected, it keeps telling me to put a valid email address. Good app. Please, when will the police and human rights discrimination course be available?. It said it was to be available by the beginning or early 2023 but still nothing. Please I'll love to complete it. More too, other certificates can't be downloaded because they will be made available only when all courses under the major course is completed.After a while not using the app, I can no longer sign in with the right password. I must get a new password Everytime before I can sign in.

Very important app,you would definitely get to know your rights and privilege as a human being. Am highly educated in this system
