About this app

Hear it. Feel the difference.

AMPL is an Android music equalizer with an analog-style VU meter. Shape the bass, bring out the treble and find the balance that suits your music, headphones and speakers.

YOUR SOUND, YOUR CONTROLS
• 10-band EQ on supported devices to fine-tune your sound.
• Bass, treble and master volume controls with tactile, amplifier-inspired knobs.
• A live VU meter that moves with your music.
• An audio console designed for portrait and landscape.

Use AMPL alongside a compatible music player. Availability of 10-band EQ, the actual band count and results can vary by phone, player and audio output, including Bluetooth.

TRY IT WITH YOUR MUSIC
Use audio effects free for 30 minutes each day. Time counts only while audio plays with AMPL effects on. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited effect use.

OPTIONAL PERMISSIONS
Android microphone permission is required for the VU meter to measure internal playback; AMPL does not record audio or use microphone input. Notification access lets it show song information from compatible players.

LISTEN RESPONSIBLY
Strong EQ or bass boosts can raise playback volume. Excessive volume and prolonged loud listening can damage your hearing. Start at a low volume, adjust gradually and take listening breaks.

What’s new

Improved BASS, TREBLE, and EQ boost response for stronger sound when used individually.
