This app is actually okay & works great with my TV tbh just make sure to have a clear view of the receiver... think of it as a regular remote & enjoy! Also it contains ads, as stated, and sometimes they can sort of be disruptive but even they aren't a deal breaker! ALSO THIS APP IS FREE & COMES IJ HANDY!!! FREE!!!!

Junk. This app allows ads to take over your phone. They take over the entire screen so you can't use your phone until you close out the ad. This would have had 5 stars otherwise but the ads pop up all the time. Easier to just look for the remote

The Hopper system uses a UHF not IR, therefore making the app impossible because smartphones dont have the ability to emit UHF and the other Dishs older systems use something similar. This app is overall useless because more than likely if someone has the older system that does use IR...more than likely they are not using a smartphone advancely like using it for IR purposes lol also ads lol
