Amplia makes quiet audio louder without turning it into noise.
Most volume boosters just push the gain up and let the sound tear. Amplia never ships gain without a limiter in the chain — the loud parts get held back instead of clipping, so what you hear is louder music, not distortion.
HONEST NUMBERS
The dial shows the gain your device actually applied, in decibels. Not a percentage, not a multiplier, and never a figure invented to look impressive. If your phone refuses part of it, the reading stops where the phone stopped and the app tells you why.

Amplia lifts the sound already coming out of your phone, so there is nothing to import and no library to rebuild. Music, video, podcasts, speakerphone calls, games — one loud volume booster for everything the system mixes, on wired headphones, Bluetooth, USB audio or the phone speaker.

The headphone equalizer is built in, not bolted on. Fourteen presets cover rock, pop, jazz, classical, hip hop, dance, metal, acoustic, podcast and gaming, and every band is yours to move by hand. Add the bass booster when a track sounds thin, the virtualizer when it feels narrow, dialogue clarity when a film mumbles.

Amplia tracks your exposure against the WHO/ITU-T H.870 guideline and shows an estimated listening level — clearly marked as an estimate, because measuring it exactly would require microphone access we do not ask for. You can set your own ceiling, and it works on the free tier.

Android does not let every device apply effects to the system-wide audio mix. On phones where that is blocked, Amplia says so plainly and offers its own player, where the boost is guaranteed to work.
