About this app

DroneFly tells you, at a glance, whether it is safe to fly your drone right now and when the next good window is. No account, no sign-up, free.

It pulls live weather, wind at your chosen flying altitude, gust, precipitation, visibility, cloud base, temperature, geomagnetic Kp and daylight for your exact location, then gives a clear verdict: good to fly, fly with caution, or not safe.

Features
- Live safe-to-fly verdict for your spot, updated from current conditions
- Wind at your altitude, not just ground level, so the numbers match how it really flies
- 14-day forecast with an hour-by-hour fly window and temperature and dew point charts
- Map with airspace zones and nearby aerodromes, filterable by height, plus nearby air traffic
- GPS satellite count so you know your fix will be solid
- A growing list of popular drones with sensible defaults, plus the option to add or clone your own
- Pick your own thresholds and let the app follow them
- Optional alerts when conditions clear, when they turn, and a daily morning fly window

DroneFly is built for UK drone pilots. Always check the current rules and your responsibilities with the CAA before flying.
