About this game

Amber Minesweeper is a quiet, private minesweeper: no account, no tracking, and your progress never leaves your phone. It has 109,500 boards that are each proved solvable by logic alone, so you never have to guess, a permanent number for every board you can pass along, a daily board that ramps from small on Monday to expert at the weekend, and a streak that never asks you to pay to repair it.

Boards you can trust. Every board is checked before it ships: from the marked starting cell, pure logic reaches every safe square. No 50/50s, no coin flips, ever. Three classic sizes (Beginner 9×9, Intermediate 16×16, Expert 16×30 with 99 mines), each holding ten years of play at ten boards a day. Every board keeps its number for good: Expert #4,201 is the same board for everyone, today and in a decade.

Hints that explain. A hint reveals one square it can prove is safe and tells you why in a sentence, lighting up the numbers it reasoned from. If you have placed a wrong flag, it points at that first instead of building on top of it. Three hints a day are free.

A daily worth coming back for. One board a day, the same for everyone, smaller at the start of the week and expert by the weekend. A calendar fills in as you go. Three small goals a day give you something to chase, and a perfect day gets a gold ring. The streak is honest: it counts the days you solved the daily, and nothing else.

Made for staring at. A warm amber palette on ivory, or Midnight for the dark. Tap to reveal, hold to flag, or switch the toggle and tap; chord a satisfied number to open around it. Numbers in eight distinct colours checked for legibility, including in grayscale. A timer you can hide, that still keeps your best.

Private by design. No sign-in. No analytics. No tracking prompt, because there is nothing to track. Your boards, bests and streaks live in your phone's local storage and go nowhere else.
