ANCEL can read data from car with the OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner. It has a powerful fault diagnosis function, which can read fault codes, data streams, freeze frames, oxygen sensors and other data, and provide fault explanations, which can be used to clear the codes and turn off the Malfunction Indicator Lamp. A valuable tool and app. I'm getting better at understanding what it's telling me. Which sadly gets harder by the year. Clear concise and succinct communication is no longer possible. case in point. setting user parameters. metric vs imperial (english). How hard is that ? Two parameters with a gate on it, simple. Unless nobody does it. I want Fahrenheit not Celsius, I make the choice, no change. There's no excuse for that except a lack of attention to detail.

This is a pretty good OBD2 reader. It gives a good level of detail. While I have a more expensive one, this one's quicker to get operational. it does not provide data in imperial or English measures (fahrenheit). It says it does, but when you change it in settings nothing happens.

The app appears to be a snooping tool. It requires unreasonable access to the phone that should not be necessary like precise location, access to music, camera, files, nearby devices, etc, and won'twork without it. The Bluetooth device is useless because it won't pair with the phone to be used with less intrusive apps. This solution was a poor investment.
