ANCHOKO — photograph it, hide it, learn it

Photograph a page of notes and get flashcards. Anything you wrote in red pen is found and hidden for you, so you can leave the red filter sheet at home.


PHOTOGRAPH IT, GET CARDS
• Photograph notes, a textbook or a handout and the text is read on your device
• Cards are built from how the page is laid out — "term: meaning", "word translation", numbered lists
• You see the recognised text before any card is made, so misreads never become cards

What’s new

• Import Anki .apkg files. Cards, images and deck names come across as they are, and image occlusion notes keep their boxes in the right place
• Note types ANCHOKO does not know are still imported, front and back. Nothing is dropped
• New sample deck built from diagrams (circuit and distillation, 12 cards)
• Diagram-based study goals now come first on the opening screen
• Fixed: some .apkg files were read from an older copy inside, importing only part of the cards
