About this app

Most applications use your camera when needed but some apps might try to access it in the background or foreground without your consent.
Wisom is a really simple tool that notify you with green and orange indicators when apps use Microphone or Camera.

To use Wisom, you need to grant USAGE_STATS permission by clicking the Start button at the app main page and grant the access (or go to Settings and search for Usage data access).
For the access dots indicator to work, you need to turn it on in the app setting (you have to allow Wisom to appear on top permission as well)

Wisom is inspired by new iOS 14 and Android 12 privacy feature that shows an indicator whenever camera or microphone is accessed.

Note: On Android 6, Microphone usage can not be detected due to system limitation.

Lack of customisation. --- Edit 1: I'm missing the feature to resize, reposition and maybe even animate the dots. --- Edit 2: I've seen that, but it's missing some customisation as I've noted above :) --- Edit 3: True, but still it only comes in 3 steps, which doesn't work for me. I'd love to be able to reposition and resize the dots per pixel, and also to move them up and down. --- Edit 4: Alright, awesome! Thanks for letting me know.

It works ok for camera but when some app starts using your microphone like sending voice message on WhatsApp is shows that but after stopping the use of microphone the dot doesn't disappear and also the notification still says the same. And when I force stop it and restart it, then it says no app is using ... Also the camera indicator doesn't appear when I open the system camera app (Android 9). Hope these bugs will be fixed in the near future.
