In the past, everyone walked everywhere. What would it have been like to walk to Edo (present-day Tokyo) for the Sankin-kōtai (alternate attendance system)? Everyday walks become part of a journey.

"Tono, O-Edo de Gozaru" is a walking assist app that uses your smartphone's step count data to create a virtual "walking journey."

Your usual commute, school run, or walk transforms into an exciting "Sankin-kōtai" experience.

Once you've chosen your destination, all you have to do is walk! The character on the map moves towards your destination as you walk.

【App Features】

◆Set your favorite location as your destination!

You can set any location anywhere in Japan as your starting point and destination.

Enjoy virtual travel on your own route, such as "from home to that tourist spot" or "from the town I used to live in to my current home."

◆Automatic progress linked to your steps!

The app links with your smartphone's health tracking function (pedometer), and the character moves on the map as you walk. No special operation is required! Your daily steps directly reflect your journey progress.

◆Choose your character and design!

Choose your companion from adorable Japanese-style characters such as "Lord" and "Princess."

The app's theme color can also be selected from "Pop," "Cool," and "Warm." Customize your journey with your preferred settings.


◆Look back on your journey!

Upon safely arriving at your destination, you'll be greeted with a delightful "Arrival!" animation.

You can view your travel history in a list, motivating you to think, "Where should I go next?"
