About this app

Bout Timer is a purpose-built tool for fencing directors and coaches
managing bouts and team matches.

Designed so the director can keep their eyes on the fencers — not
their phone. A single tap anywhere on the screen starts, pauses, and
resumes the bout clock. No hunting for a small button mid-action.

- Three-beep end signal — loud audio alert when time expires so you
can call halt without watching the screen
- Audio feedback on pause and resume — confident confirmation without
looking
- Dark and light mode — dark for low light venues, light for bright

- Screen no longer dims while the timer is paused
- Match score now always visible at the top of the screen during a bout
- New "Swap Bout Sides" button lets directors flip player sides for a bout (auto-reverts after each bout) — useful when a left-handed fencer is on the director's left
- Removed "Close App" button; use your device's built in recents to close Application
