CertiSnap is a timestamp camera that seals the time the instant you shoot.
No ads, no subscriptions, no tracking, no account. Unlike the apps that show you an ad every time you press the shutter, CertiSnap was built the honest way from day one.

Most timestamp apps just draw a time onto your photo — a time anyone can edit later.
CertiSnap seals the moment of capture and cross-checks your device clock against a trusted server's response time over HTTPS. Only photos that pass this time-integrity check earn the gold ● VERIFIED badge.

■ Byte-exact, down to the last bit (SHA-256)
CertiSnap records the SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact file it saves. Sharing keeps the original bytes intact, so the recipient can confirm "the file I received = the file that was sealed" using nothing but standard tools. No special app required on their side.

■ Verification that doesn't require trusting us (optional · off by default)
If you want, CertiSnap can also request an RFC 3161 timestamp from an independent timestamp authority. That lets anyone verify — with standard tools like OpenSSL, through a third party rather than through CertiSnap — that this exact file existed at that time and hasn't changed since. The only thing that ever leaves your device is a 32-byte hash, never the photo itself.
(This is a technical timestamp any third party can check — nothing more is claimed.)

Export a one-page PDF with the photo's SHA-256 fingerprint, the timestamp token, its issue time and serial number — plus step-by-step OpenSSL instructions anyone can follow. The person you send it to never needs to install CertiSnap.
