About this app

AndroCPU is a fast, beautifully minimal hardware monitor and benchmark for your Android device. Built natively with Jetpack Compose, it shows everything CPU-Z and similar apps show — and only what you actually need — in a layout designed for modern OLED screens.

No root. No bloat. No tracking beyond what's required by Google Play services.

WHAT YOU SEE

• Live Dashboard – CPU, GPU, RAM, battery draw, thermals and a one-glance summary of your device, all refreshed in real time.
• CPU detail – global usage, per-core utilization, live frequency chart, ARM implementer/part decoded (Cortex-A53 through X925, Neoverse-V3 and more), Prime/Performance/Efficiency cluster breakdown, and a proper SoC catalog (Snapdragon 8 Elite, Exynos 2600, Tensor G5…).
• GPU & NPU – renderer, vendor, OpenGL ES version, GLSL, GL extensions, plus an estimated load ring and pipeline mix. Neural Processor section ready for NNAPI workloads.
• Memory – RAM used vs. total, ZRAM / swap, internal storage, cache and free.
• Power & Thermal – battery voltage, current, draw, temperature, charging direction, design capacity, and a 48-second power-draw chart. Thermal headroom and per-zone temperatures whenever your OEM allows it.
• Sensors – live accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer; ambient light, pressure (with altitude estimate), proximity. The full list of every sensor your phone exposes, with vendor, sample rate and current reading.
• Quick Benchmark – 9-second Mandelbrot sweep: single-thread, multi-thread and a GPU proxy score. Saved to history so you can compare runs.
• Device Info – marketing name, chipset id, process node, manufacturer, architecture, core count, GPU string, Android version, and a clean ARM details panel (implementer, architecture, part, variant).

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

• Native Android, built with Kotlin 2 and Jetpack Compose — no web view, no cross-platform overhead.
• Real telemetry. No-root strategy taken straight from how CPU-Z and similar reference apps work: /proc/stat, /sys/class/thermal, /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq, per-thread aggregation, and Android's public sensor and battery APIs.
• Material 3 with OKLCH tonal palette. Material You dynamic colors on Android 12+.
• Edge-to-edge, gesture-nav aware, OLED-friendly dark mode and a true light mode.
• Smart fallbacks: when an OEM locks a sensor (Samsung's SELinux locks /sys/class/thermal, for instance), AndroCPU surfaces the closest legitimate substitute instead of showing "N/A".

PRIVACY

AndroCPU only reads on-device hardware information. No personal data, no contacts, no calendar, no microphone, no camera. Ads (served via Google AdMob) and crash diagnostics are the only network calls — and you can remove ads entirely from Settings → Support the app.

SUPPORT THE APP

If AndroCPU is useful, two one-time in-app purchases let you go ad-free:
• 1 year ad-free – $1.99
• Lifetime ad-free – $4.99

Both restore on any device signed in with the same Google account.

WHO IT'S FOR

Power users, modders, ROM testers, OEM hardware reviewers, gamers checking sustained clocks, anyone curious about what's really inside their phone.

Feedback, feature requests and bug reports are very welcome - your one-tap email link is in Settings.
