About this app

Urbancook is a platform that helps users find and hire domestic workers across multiple cities in India.

Using the app, you can search and connect with part-time, full-day, and 24-hour domestic workers such as cleaners, cooks, babysitters, nannies, governesses, caretakers, and elderly caregivers. The app allows users to directly contact available workers or connect with verified agencies for full-time and live-in requirements.

Urbancook offers multiple categories including cleaners, cooks, babysitters, elderly caretakers, and japa maids for newborn and postnatal care. Additional categories such as couple maids, governesses, travel nannies, and overseas domestic workers will be available in future updates.

By setting your home location in the app, you can view domestic workers who live nearby. Each profile includes details such as photo, age, experience, native place, and other relevant information to help users make informed hiring decisions. For live-in and babysitting roles, users can also view detailed profiles including video interviews provided by associated agencies.

The app supports hiring domestic workers for both local and international requirements, including overseas placements. Users can browse profiles, connect directly, and manage hiring through the app.

Urbancook also provides features such as:

Background verification requests

Marking a worker as hired to avoid duplicate hiring

Priority profiles that are immediately available

Referral rewards for inviting other users

A broadcast feature (coming soon) to notify available workers in your area

Urbancook is designed to simplify the process of finding domestic help by offering direct access to worker profiles and communication tools, reducing the need for traditional referrals or intermediaries.
