About this app

ScanMe reads any code you point it at, builds the code you need in 56 formats, and gives you codes and pages you can keep editing after they are printed.

Smart IDs — one printed code, a page you keep editing

A Smart ID is a permanent QR code in front of a page you own. Print it once on a card, a collar tag, a windshield sticker — and change what sits behind it whenever you like. The code never changes.

Digital business card. Your details, photo and links sit behind a permanent code. Change your number and every card you have handed out keeps working. Pick a template, set your colours, and let whoever scans it save you into their contacts.

Pet ID. A QR tag for the collar. A scan shows your pet's name, what they need and who to call. If they go missing, one tap turns the page into a missing poster the finder can write to.

Vehicle ID. A QR sticker for the windshield. A passer-by can tell you your lights are on or that you are blocking a driveway — without seeing your number unless you show it.

Dynamic QR codes — change the destination, not the print run

A dynamic code points at a short ScanMe link. The printed square stays as it is; where it sends people is yours to change.

Design it properly

• 19 dot shapes, from square and rounded to heart, star, leaf and flower
• 15 shapes for the corner rings and centres, with adjustable thickness
• Solid colours or gradients; dots, eyes and background set separately
• Your own logo, or one of the built-in glyphs
• 20 frames — ticket, storefront, coffee cup, Wi-Fi band, badge, bunting and more
• Margin and error-correction control for codes printed small
• Save any design as a template and use it again
• Export as PNG, JPG or SVG, 512 to 4096 pixels, no watermark

Each collects the fields it needs; each scan result offers the action that fits.

Scanning

• Point and scan, or read a code out of a photo
• Batch mode collects codes one after another, or reads a selection of photos at once
• When several codes are in frame, choose the one you meant
• Join a Wi-Fi network, save a contact, open a map, add an event or dial a number
• Beep, vibration, flash, focus and frame-only scanning are all yours to set

History stays on your phone

Codes you scan and make are kept on the device and never uploaded. Reopen any of them, restyle it, and export it again.

Plans

The generator and scanner are free and unlimited, and exports carry no watermark. A free account adds 3 dynamic QR codes, 1 Smart ID and 1,500 tracked scans a month. Paid plans raise those limits.

Great app! It's fast, works offline, and it's free to use. Ads might distract but overall, it's very efficient and reliable. Love using it for my products scanning.
