Free and easy to use audio recorder for Android, designed for high-quality and long-time recording with a clean and simple user interface.

With a skipping silence on-the-fly feature, recordings could be shortened by omitting relative silence. It allows you, for example, to catch night sleep talks or maybe some snoring, whatever comes first. 😴 By the way, it is how the idea to make this app was born: my spouse wanted to prove that I talk at night. It turns out, I do. 🤔

Regarding phone calls: 📲
This app is not designed explicitly for recording phone calls. Some manufacturers block the ability to record the other party of a phone call for privacy or legal reasons. Therefore recordings will be paused during phone calls by default. Remember to be responsible and comply with your local laws.

Ratings and reviews

Have had this app for years, always worked. However in 2025/2026, my older recordings are not listed under "recordings" in app. I have them saved onto memory card in phone. All listed recordings play, I can go to file manager and see the older recordings, but they do not play outside of app. They are there, just not accessible. A solution would be, if there's a limit on recordings shown, perhaps a search feature. I know the older recording names. Was a 5☆ app, not so sure what's up now.

Silence skip cuts perfectly! Developers(♥️ you guys): - Would be so awesome if you could add timestamp mark button while recording. Best option: in advanced check box optionals, be able to "Label" them throughout, more important though, label when recording is done. -Option for when recordings are deleted, the naming index starts at 1 or last chronological # again. -Appearance white("day")mode option/even easier see each individual recording in list APPRECIATE the options chosen to include.♥️

Used for quite a while now. it's exactly what I was looking for. Doesn't time-out the recording session, so I can think before I speak. Also has pause so I can talk to someone off the record without breaking up the stream. Folder names+structure so I can organize topics. Quick share for distribution & backup. Picks up voices across the room nicely. Very thoughtful engineering thank you update 12/2025: ongoing loud static trying to record any form of music in the room. Dropped down to four stars
