MEET THE BEASTIES
The Spider — a glowing wee spider that scurries in bursts, plays dead, and sneaks under a blanket where it prowls around as a suspicious moving lump. Cats cannot cope with the lump.
The Red Dot — the classic. Sweeps, jitters, and teases exactly like the real thing, except this one can actually be caught.
The Green Dot — same maddening moves, extra visible to feline eyes.
The Worm — a fuzzy, slithering fellow whose whole body wriggles along behind him.
The Jumbo Worm — like the worm, only gloriously fatter, longer, and harder to ignore.
The red dot is free forever. Unlock the rest of the crew by watching a short ad — no subscriptions, no accounts, no fuss.
BUILT FOR CATS (AND THEIR HUMANS)
Designed around how cats actually see and hunt: high-contrast colours cats track best, sporadic stop-start movement that triggers the pounce instinct, and haptic feedback that rewards a direct hit. The screen stays awake during play, and there are no fiddly menus for stray paws to wander into.
Lay your phone flat, tap Play, and step back. A screen protector is recommended for especially enthusiastic hunters.
TapCat: the hunt is on.
KITTY FRIENDS
Send us a live photo of your cat, add their name, and submit it for review. Approved photos appear in Kitty Friends, where TapCat players can browse other kitties, tap photos full-screen, and send a wee like.
Photos are reviewed before appearing publicly, and Kitty Friends lives inside the app rather than on the website.
