About this app
RateTheRef is the only independent, fan-powered referee rating platform covering all four divisions of English football — Premier League, Championship, League One, and League Two.
After every match, rate your referee across five categories:
⚖️ Decision Accuracy — Were the big calls correct?
🟨 Card Management — Were bookings fair?
⚡ Game Flow — Did the ref keep the game moving?
🔄 Consistency — Were decisions even-handed throughout?
🗣️ Communication — Did the ref manage players well?
YOUR VOICE. YOUR VERDICT.
Every rating is tied to your club. One rating per match. A 24-hour window after full time. No noise — just structured, honest fan opinion.
THE LEADERBOARD
See how every referee ranks across all four divisions. Filter by league. Sort by best rated, worst rated, or most rated. Updated after every matchday.
REFEREE PROFILES
Dig into career stats, season-by-season history, match outcomes, and fan ratings for every referee in the database.
YOUR STATS
Track your rating streak, your average scores by category, and your full rating history — all in one place.
COVERING ALL FOUR DIVISIONS
