It doesn't appear to work with my PixelXL. Trying to use a bluetooth headset with the phone as a speaker - which it seems like this app should do. However, that doesn't seem to be the case. Can't seem to record and playback with it. Doesn't seem to put any audio out the speakers. Essentially no documentation with the app. Some reviews have said it works. Permissions seem appropriate for what it does. It's just that, for me, it doesn't really do anything.

This app helps me use my phone's microphone as an input to my linux machine running pulseaudio through bluetooth. This one provides the best sound quality among all the others I have tested so far. Latency is tolerable as well. (But could still be better, in case you're looking for suggestions. i would recommend trying to improve that if possible.)

App has a long delay (latency). App did not work using a bluetooth mic (nobody has phono plugs any longer) App works with a bluetooth speaker but has too much feedback, even when placed at a distance. Uninstalling.
