CAPTURE REAL ANIMALS BY PHOTO
Step outside, spot a creature, and snap a photo. Animalis identifies the real species and adds it to your encyclopedia — from the beetles in the grass to the foxes on your evening walk.

BATTLE, LEVEL UP, GROW
Build a team of six and take on wild animals in turn-based battles. Across 11 animal types, every species has its own strengths, moves, and matchups — train your team, level them up, and grow them through their real life stages into stronger forms. Sexes, castes and colour forms are the real ones too.

A WORLD BASED ON YOURS
You photograph the real animals around you, so your collection is whatever genuinely lives where you are — a city park, a forest, a beach, and a riverside each turn up different species. Travel somewhere new and so does the wildlife.

CLAIM GYMS, EARN BADGES
Real-world parks are home to Gyms. Beat a gym's defenders to earn its Badge, then leave your own team to hold it. A held gym earns Leaves every day, and any challenger your team beats forfeits their stake. Gym leaderboards run by country, continent and world.

CLIMB THE CANOPY
The animal family tree, as a ladder you battle up — species, genus, family, order, class, phylum, kingdom. Install a team on a rung you own, beat the position below to unlock the next, and hold positions for badges, rank rewards and Leaves every day. Playable from anywhere, no park needed.

FOLLOW THE SEASONS
Hundreds of limited-time wildlife events around the world, matched to what is really happening in nature near you — migrations, births, insect emergences, the rut. Each names a real animal, a real region and its real dates. Catch it while it is in season to earn its badge and reward.

BATTLE AND TRADE WITH FRIENDS
Add friends with an invite link or QR code, spot each other on the map, and go head-to-head in player-versus-player battles. Trade animals to round out your collection — and invite a friend and you both earn Nets.

HEAL AT REAL LANDMARKS
Visit a real-world place of worship — church, temple, or mosque — to heal your team for free at a Health Centre. Drop into a real supermarket to find a Shop and stock up on Nets, Potions, and Revives.

This game is so fun! The fact that you have to get pictures of real animals has made my usual walk in the park much more exciting and inspires me to get out on some hiking trails for higher level animals. I'm not really a video game guy but this game actually gets me outdoors and "touching grass" more than before! In a world of apps that are free with ads, it is well worth the money for this game with no ads!

The idea of having all the animals around you as possible creatures to catch and use like Pokemon is nice. The execution is very rough, the game is roughly in an alpha stage at best. The recognition of creatures is often incorrect. It seems like an idea has been created and developed mainly with AI, as a developer myself, I know this shouldn't have as poor of a performance as it does. Hopefully updates will elevate the performance in the future.

My husband and I are having a blast with this game! it's still really new so it has some bugs to be defeated like the wrong species popping up when you catch an animal or the amount of nets reseting to 10 every day even if you bought more. Regardless its still a fun time.
