Ankor is a digital wellbeing app designed to stop "compulsive scrolling" and make app use an intentional choice. Harnessing the power of AI, it transforms a simple object into a physical barrier.
How does it work?
1. Set your anchor: select the apps that distract you and associate them with a photo of a physical object in your environment.
2. Activate the blocker anytime, now or later, with the scheduling feature.
- Encourage new habits through recurring schedules.
- Discourage scrolling: when you feel like opening a blocked app, you have to get up, physically reach for your anchor, and photograph it.
3. The AI verifies that the object matches correctly: if it matches the anchor, the apps are unlocked, and this simple gesture becomes the ritual that breaks the dopamine cycle.
Who is Ankor for?
- Students who want to study without distractions.
- Professionals and creators.
- Serial procrastinators and anyone looking to reduce their online time.
