About this app

Dividend Investor assembles your dividend-oriented holdings data for review in ways that are not handled by other apps.

IMPORTANT: To properly function, Dividend Investor REQUIRES an ongoing monthly data subscription for data provided by a third party. This is data that the app depends on, and they do not provide it for free. You may get access to it however at a GREATLY reduced rate via the EASY In-App subscription of $2.85 per month (plus any applicable local taxes), which allows AnnealSoft to to recoup the cost for providing this data to you at the best price possible. That's less than the price of a small latte at Starbucks! The In-App subscription, billed through Google Play, will be renewed automatically each month.

You can try it out risk-free by subscribing within the app for the FREE 3-day trial period (for first-time subscribers), and then if you are not satisfied, you may cancel your In-App subscription before the end of the trial . Otherwise, you will be automatically enrolled in a paid monthly subscription at the end of the free trial period. Use the subscription popup after the About screen when initially installed, or visit the app's "Settings" page for the subscription offer, to subscribe. (To make the most of the trial period, it is suggested that you start it early in the week.)

View this listing on Google Play in your browser for more screenshots across device types. Also, see the author's website at https://www.annealsoft.com/about/android-apps/dividend-investor.html for much more details on the app than can be listed here. Near the bottom of the page is a link to a zip file of demo data which can be downloaded and restored into the Dividend Investor app in order to view some of the screens with data in them.

After installing, please grant permission for the App to access File Storage (referred to also as "Media" in newer Android versions), which is required for imports, backup/restore and logs transmission (in order to report issues).

If you have any questions or issues, please contact AnnealSoft using the Developer contact info in the Play Store listing details for this app, or by using the Application Feedback section of the Settings page in the app, before posting negative reviews - we will do our best to help solve them! Please include any specific symbols you are having issues with, if problems are specific to them.

I did my due diligence and read the description several times. Then went to the website. Nowhere does it give any indication of what a subscription costs. It only says there is a 3-day trial period. My previous dividend tracking app charged $10 per year, so I figured it must be similar and bought the app. Only to discover that the "discounted" subscription the developer refers to is $36 per year. That's over half the cost of Office 365. I have no doubt he's just passing on the data subscription costs, but he should be upfront about what the costs are. You can't get the pricing without first purchasing the app.

The price quoted in this listing for In-App Products or Purchases (in Google Play) is the price of subscribing within the app. (This is in the description).

Sounds like everything I wanted but doesn't support fractional shares. Thanks for the reply. I think precision to at least two decimals is sufficient. Example (1.23) I currently use Robinhood for fractional shares, but it is slowly rolling out and not everyone has access to this feature yet. I do understand you may not have been aware because of this. I will wait patiently as this app appears to be everything I want in a dividend app.

Thanks for the feedback; I wasn't aware that brokers were offering fractional shares. Please stay tuned while I investigate this. (What is the precision that you need it to support, or what is the broker offering them? Thanks!). Update: version 2020.06.04.73 now has this feature.

Took a chance to download the app and it's a dud. It won't allow the load of the ticker symbol and saids you have to purchase a subscription to IEX Cloud?

Hi - yes, a subscription is required, and symbols will be validated against the data once it is active. You can try it out risk-free by subscribing within the app for the free trial period, and then if you are still unsatisfied, cancel your subscription before it renews, and return the app for a refund. Let me know if you still have any issues.
