About this app

MySIG is a mobile application developed as a Final Year Project (FYP) by a student of the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FTSM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). It aims to streamline the Special Interest Group (SIG) registration process for first-year students.

Previously managed via Google Forms with manual processing and long delays, MySIG introduces a real-time, responsive registration system that allows students to:

🔹 Choose up to three SIG preferences
🔹 Receive instant feedback on placement
🔹 Re-select if original SIG choices are full
🔹 View updated SIG capacity and information
🔹 Automatically generate and download SIG member reports (for admins and SIG representatives)
