FamShield helps parents and legal guardians manage a child’s device use with reliable parental controls, safer browsing, and family device management.

Accessibility Service disclosure (required)
FamShield uses Android’s Accessibility Service on the child device to help enforce parental controls, such as blocking restricted apps and showing a block screen when a restricted app is opened.
FamShield does not use Accessibility to read typed text, passwords, messages, contacts, photos, or web content. You can disable Accessibility permission at any time in Android Settings.
Web protection (VPN disclosure)
When Web Protection is enabled, FamShield uses Android’s VPN service only to provide DNS-based filtering to help block unsafe and adult websites on the child device. You can turn Web Protection off at any time.

FamShield is intended for use by parents or legal guardians to manage and monitor a child’s device. Please ensure you have appropriate consent where required by law.
Privacy & security
We collect only the data needed to provide the service (such as account email for sign-in, device identifiers, and usage/location data when enabled). Data is stored securely and transmitted using encryption.
