Environmental Footprint is an application developed to support the monitoring and analysis of environmental indicators in schools participating in the Eco Dom project.
The platform allows users to record data related to resource consumption and environmental practices of educational institutions, contributing to the generation of indicators that help assess the environmental impact of schools and promote sustainability actions.
The application was created based on studies by the Environmental Footprint Scientific Initiation Group of the Dom Helder CĆ¢mara Higher Education School, which developed an analysis methodology based on different environmental indicators.
Through the application, school teams, scholarship recipients, and project participants can record important information that assists in calculating the Environmental Footprint of the institutions.
š± Main Features
* Registration of environmental data from participating schools
* Calculation of Environmental Footprint indicators
* Monitoring of natural resource consumption
* Data entry with validation
* Monitoring of schools' environmental performance
* Access to sustainability information and tips
š Indicators Evaluated
The application allows the collection of data used in the analysis of different environmental indicators, such as:
Water consumption
Energy consumption
Paper use
Waste management
Other environmental practices developed by schools
This data is used to generate analyses that help to understand the environmental impact of institutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
šÆ Application Objective
