Anti-Scroll is a pause between you and the feed. Not a ban. Not a forever lock. One second to choose: open a social app — or put the phone down.
THE PROBLEM YOU ALREADY KNOW
Your hand opens the app on its own. “Just one video” becomes an hour. Evening is gone. A child is back in short videos. Hard blocker apps get deleted in three days. Anti-Scroll breaks the autopilot — not the person.
WHAT YOU GET
• A pause before the apps you pick: 0, 3, 5, 8 or 10 seconds. Zero still helps in kids mode — the PIN shows at once.
• A daily limit per app: 30 minutes, 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours. Under the limit, the app opens freely. Over it — the pause returns.
• Always-on pause for every launch, when you want a hard habit.
• Kids mode and a 4-digit parent PIN. After the pause, the child enters the code. Turning kids mode off also needs the PIN.
• Focus: 25, 45, 60 minutes or your own time. During Focus the pause fires even if the daily limit is not used up. Study, work, bedtime.
• Stats for today, yesterday and the week. Compare with last week. Streaks. A daily social-media goal.
• Any apps you choose: social, video, messengers, the browser, games.
• English, русский, español, português, 中文. Defaults to the system language.
FOR YOU
If you have said “one more clip” — this is for you. No shame. A pause where the reflex usually wins. You do not need to ban the internet. You need the choice back.
FOR PARENTS
The phone war is exhausting. Set clear rules: chosen apps open through a pause and a code. Daily limit or always-on kids mode. You set the PIN in Settings. The child sees a pause, not a fight. Control without reading their chats.
START IN TWO MINUTES
1. Install Anti-Scroll and open it.
2. Turn on the AccessibilityService API (Android Accessibility) — otherwise the pause cannot appear over other apps.
3. Optionally grant usage access to see real screen time.
4. Mark the apps that steal the evening.
5. For a child: set a parent PIN and enable kids mode on those apps.
6. Start Focus before work or sleep.
HONEST ABOUT ACCESS
Anti-Scroll is not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities. It uses the Android AccessibilityService API only to read the package name of the app that just came to the foreground, so it can show a pause before apps you protect. It does not read messages, passwords or the screen. That package name stays on the device. It is not uploaded or shared. No required account. No cloud history: settings, limits and stats stay on the device.
WHAT IT DOES NOT PROMISE
Anti-Scroll does not cure addiction and does not replace talking to your child. It does not delete social apps. It is a tool in your pocket every day: pause, limit, PIN, Focus.
Softer than a total block. Stronger than “I’ll control myself.” For students, parents, and anyone who wants the evening back.
Put a pause on the scroll. Anti-Scroll.
Pause before social apps. Daily limits, Focus and a parent PIN.
