About this app

iTrackEasy is a small Bluetooth device that can be attached to any of items, Eg your keys, wallet, luggage….
With the app on your smart phone you can locate your lost or misplaced item easily. The button on the device also doubles as a camera remote which makes selfie easier.

How it works:
Find items: Tap the "Ring" button on the App and the iTrack Easy device will sound alert and flash LED light.

Find Phone: Hold the button on the iTrack Easy device to make your phone alert.

Item Lost Alarm: Your phone will sound alert when it is separated from the beacon device, and the app will also record the separated GPS location to make you find the item back more easily.

Network Search: If an item is lost, the iTrack Easy network can find it for you. You may receive a notification of where you item is when another iTrack Easy user goes near your item.

Wifi Safe Area: When you connect to those selected WiFi networks, distance alerts are disabled in the iTrack Easy app to avoid constant alerts.

Sleep Mode: You can set the iTrack Easy device to sleep to save battery life and to avoid unwanted alerts.

Ratings and reviews

Works well for it's intended purpose. However, whenever I try to rename an already added device, the app force closes. I get a message saying the app has an exception, please quit. I am then forced to force close from the task manager. The device will appear renamed when the app reopens. However, this is a clear bug, and forces the app to resync with connected devices when it restarts.

Everytime I try to register for the app, I get an error message that reads "invalid email address format" even though I'm typing it in correctly. I've done this multiple times with different emails, and I've uninstalled then reinstalled the app. Same message. There's no way to contact developes to fix this issue so I basically wasted my money.

I rarely use the program and so far everything worked well. For me, there were no problems with this software. True, I have little experience with it. Of the shortcomings (maybe this is not even a drawback of iTrackEasy itself), I note that the alert from the tracker to the phone loses all meaning on my Android 10 device if the battery optimization for this application is not disabled in advance. It may also be necessary to enable even and autostart of this application in the system. And I would not like that. For now.
