About this app

VoxScribe Recorder is the free companion app for VoxScribe, the web application for transcription and meeting minutes (https://voxscribe.eu-web.app). Record meetings, conversations and dictations right on your phone – a few minutes later the transcript with speaker detection is ready in your VoxScribe account, with an AI summary at the tap of a button.

RECORD RELIABLY
• Start, pause and resume a recording with one tap
• Recording continues when you leave the app or lock the screen
• Every recording is saved on your device first
• No internet? The upload starts automatically as soon as you are back online
• See at a glance which recordings are saved, uploaded or still pending

TRANSCRIBE
• Start a transcription with language selection and optional speaker detection
• View the transcript with summary, speakers and word count
• Continue editing the full transcript in the VoxScribe web app

ORGANIZE AND SHARE
• Assign recordings to a project or keep them private
• Share projects via link or QR code, optionally protected by an access code – revocable at any time
• Play back and delete recordings

PRIVACY
• The microphone is used only for recordings you start yourself
• Recordings, transcription and AI summaries in EU data centers (details: privacy policy)
• No ads, no tracking

VoxScribe Recorder is a companion app and works only together with VoxScribe (https://voxscribe.eu-web.app). The app is free and available in English and German. To use it you need a VoxScribe account. Accounts are set up by Anton Alpha or your organisation – contact us via https://anton-alpha.com.
