Silent Boot mutes your phone on shutdown to keep it silent on boot and restores previous volume settings after startup is complete.

This app is great and does exactly what I want. When I go to turn off my phone it automatically turns volume to silent so that when I turn the phone back on there is no T-Mobile startup sound. Just remember to turn your volume back to where you'd like it. Also it provides you a notification that it's working however if you want you can turn it off

Such a pain in the .... – NO! NOT THIS APP!! Nokia phones, and other nuisances alike, where you get an Android devoid of any silencer for that stupid boot-up racket. I love me some Tàrrega when I feel like playing his music, but there's a time and place for that. THAT'S WHERE THIS BRILLIANT LITTLE HELPER SHINES!!! Problem solved, no disruptions when booting up your phone. ¡¡ 10*/5* !! A++++!! One of the best apps on my phone, with one of the smallest footprints at that. Hasn't failed me once! 👌

Nice idea. It only works on Android 7 if you enable quickboot. Quickboot only works when the phone is off for short periods and so overnight, despite having this app, the startup jingle is still full volume. Looks like rooting the phone is the only answer...sigh. Shame this app is needed at all really. You used to have full volume control until Google took over. Good idea though :)
