Silent Boot mutes your phone on shutdown to keep it silent on boot and restores previous volume settings after startup is complete.

A must if you have a T-Mobile phone. it's criminal that T-Mobile does not let you turn off the T-Mobile jingle it plays during startup. there is no setting that lets you do this. I had a Verizon phone that I switched over and it was fine until the latest update where now I get the T-Mobile splash screen along with the chime. I called T-Mobile tech support and they suggested that I load this app. it works, but it takes it a second to load after startup, and then it can turn the sound back on.

This app is great and does exactly what I want. When I go to turn off my phone it automatically turns volume to silent so that when I turn the phone back on there is no T-Mobile startup sound. Just remember to turn your volume back to where you'd like it. Also it provides you a notification that it's working however if you want you can turn it off

Been using this for years. Does exactly what it says. I use another app to mute sounds in particular situations, but this is the only app that mutes startup. I now have a Samsung Note 9 and the phone said the app may not work with my phone and may need updated. But it's working just fine. Phone just upgraded to Android 9 and it still works.
