I love the keyboard but would like to permanently turn off word suggestions. They don't work for me as I switch languages within the same text, and constantly get wrong suggestion. Plus, I have very large hands and often hit the word suggestions by accident - mostly the wrong ones. I have to turn it off each single time I start a message, instead of just once and forever.

Nice to have the umlauts available via long press, I'd like to have QWERTY layout though! Happy to contribute but I can't find the code anywhere.

Would be great to have a QWERTY layout with umlauted characters available via long press. As a second language learner I find this very preferable when writing in German.
