About this app

DIVEROID has 4 different underwater functions: a camera, video recorder, dive computer, and a compass. You can take pictures and record videos of the beautiful underwater world in addition to selfies.

**The most featured function is to manage your dive photos and videos. You can back up your color corrected photos to your local phone!**

We have developed a smartphone housing that communicates directly with the application. After your dive, you can easily manage your Dive Log in the most innovative way.

I have had a DiveRoid for years with no problems with the Mini or the housing. I decided to purchase two more open-box items on eBay. Trying to register the housing, after someone else has, is impossible. Without the housing registration, the Mini's fail to register and the software will not synchronize with the Mini's. A vicious cycle... ridiculous and unnecessary. Poor software, without improvements, for a superior hardware product. WARNING: Do not purchase an open-box DiveRoid ... unusable

This app has its merits. It tracks alot of good data and puts all of your photos into folders automatically. The (very) bad is if you try to share your photos, the app forcibly puts a "Diveroid" logo in the top right corner of the picture. This has the effect of ruining the picture. Adding the logo should be an option and not manditory. I am VERY disappointed and dissatisfied with diveroid ruining my great pictures. This problem is very easy to fix and I recommend fixing it this month.

The app is so bad it makes the hardware unusable. You can't start or stop a dive without opening the housing so if it will take awhile for you to get to your dive location you will be eating your phone battery and heating the phone while it runs pointlessly. If the dive stops prematurely, which happens when ANYTHING goes wrong, you're SOL. Anytime that happens your photos and videos thus far are lost completely, which is ridiculous - save them as soon as they are captured!!
